By popular request after the last paper weaving workshop I have planned another one. This paper weaving workshop will be based around a Festive theme and will take place on Sunday 19th November.
Learn simple off-loom weaving using a variety of papers and patterns. Experiment, play and break the rules to create fun and colourful designs, and use them to make cards. Places are limited. Please email me for more information or to book a place.
The workshop will take place in Fintry Museum at the back of Fintry Sports Club. Tea, coffee & cake or a mince pie will be included.
If you live too far away to get to Fintry in the heart of Scotland, you can learn on-line instead. Earlier this year I collaborated with eco-printer Elisabeth Viguie-Culshaw, and we created ‘Print and Weave’, a self paced workshop on the Teachable platform, where you can learn to make beautiful botanical prints with plants local to you anywhere in the world, and then use these to create paper weaving pieces.
